How to delete Instagram account?
Use these procedures to delete your Instagram account:
The official Instagram website is the only place from which
you may cancel your account; the mobile app does not allow this. Go to www.instagram.com in your web browser to
access Instagram.
Register an account:
To sign in to your Instagram account, enter your username
and password.
Visit the page for account deletion: Visit the account
deactivation page after logging in. By clicking on this link, https://www.instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/permanent/,
you can access it directly.
Select a reason.
Instagram will ask you to give a reason for cancelling your
account on the page where you can do so. From the drop-down menu, pick the
relevant choice.
Retype your password:
Instagram will prompt you to enter your password again in
order to maintain account security.
Click the “Permanently delete my account” option after
entering your password to permanently remove your account. All of your data,
including images, videos, followers, and comments, will be erased as a result
of this decision, which is final.
Please be aware that Instagram has a 30-day waiting period
before deleting an account. Your account will be inactive at this period, and
other users won’t be able to see your profile, pictures, or videos. Within
those 30 days, you can log in and reactivate your account. But beyond the grace
period, your account will be permanently terminated, and any connected data
will be lost forever.
Before deleting your Instagram account, be sure to download
any content you wish to keep because you won’t be able to access it anymore.
